Odie-Grace Urum-Kalu is a London based artist / Curator / Workshop Leader, with a multimedia practice. Currently a student in Slade School of Fine Art, Odie-Grace’s practice surrounds concepts such as intersectional feminism & cyber resistance. Taking the form of installation, interactive performance and videos. As featured in exhibitions such as ‘Hello Dump 01’,GREATOREX STREET, October 2023. ‘Between Here and There’, GREATOREX STREET, April 2024. ‘Elevenses’,THE UGLY DUCK, May 2024. ‘Substrata’ THE HORSE HOSPITAL, June 2024. Curational projects include; Presave: Your Future Now at ALLOTMENT. Odie-Grace’s practice accesses serious subject matter, disguised by a satirical front, providing consciousness to anthropological issues such as misogynoir, internet culture and diasporic conditions. With the aim of commodifying harder topics while providing representation and relatability.
